Special Effects can be used in animations to enliven
an idea or to create a 'wow factor' that demands the audience's
attention - turning presentations into head-turning and impressive
events.
Computer animations can produce any conceivable
effect - pyrotechnics, liquids, particles, laser beams, light
effects, fire, smoke, whole galaxies, character animations, and
anything else that you can imagine. Space, time and the laws
of nature can be moulded to suit your purpose - the impossible can
appear possible.
But FX animation doesn't always have to be about
explosions and giant meteors heading towards the Earth! Careful
and subtle use of effects - such as lighting-glints for instance - can
create a powerful subliminal message that says: 'here's a product in
a class of its own'.
Visual effects are also useful for illustrating
things that technically could not otherwise be shown - sound waves,
pressure, heat, etc.
