3D computer animation is ideal for illustrating
technical products and manufactured engineered goods. The
level of detail achievable is incredible - the product can be sectioned to
show interior workings
and can be demonstrated working in minute detail.
When the product animation is combined with
a commentary soundtrack into a well structured presentation, it also
becomes a well-honed and impressive sales tool.
Once
modelled, products can be viewed from any angle and aspect, placed
in unusual or hostile environments, or animated in ways difficult or impossible to
achieve by conventional filming.
A product can be shown in any situation and combined with
intricate studio lighting techniques. Animation stills
can be rendered-out at print quality resolution making them ideal for
magazine and brochure work.
Remember, animation really can be better than real life as
there are no imperfections, no hairline cracks, no dirt spots, no
scratches or smears - that is unless you want those -
