Every animation and video project is different, and there are quite a number of factors which affect the price, but these generic pricing examples should give you a useful indication...
These usually range from £2K to £4K per minute (dependent upon complexity), and typically run from 3 to 7 minutes.
Pricing Example: An excellent quality six minute promotional sales animation showcasing a group of technical products could be in the region of £18K (6x minutes @ £3K per min). This includes commentary, captions, scripting, licensed music costs, etc.
These usually range from £1.2K to £2.2K per minute and generally run from 10 and 20 minutes.
Pricing Example: A detailed and comprehensive 15 minute safety training animation could be in the region of £24K (15x minutes @ £1.6K per min). This includes commentary, captions, scripting, licensed music costs, etc.
Other language versions range from an additional £1.5K to £2K, including professional translation and voice artist costs.
UK based video shoots with two-man crew, HD camera and lights are £1.4K per day (overseas shoots are quoted on an individual basis). Subsequent editing of the video is £450 per day.
The payment schedule is typically split into equal thirds. First payment is due when the project is commissioned, second payment is due at the draft stage and the final third is due upon delivery. Terms can vary slightly dependent upon project.
Every one of our projects - whether sales or training focused - is unique and bespoke. We treat each and every one individually and will quote formally on a personalised basis once the full scope of work is known. Once priced - this will be at a fixed cost to include commentary, captions, scripting, licensed music, etc.
